Exposition: *Tom stays home to work in his apartment in NY
*Wife leaves to movie premier without Tom
Rising Action:

1. Paper flies out of window
2. Tom goes out onto ledge for paper
3. Tom catches a glimpse of how far away from the ground he really is and he panicks
4. Gets paper
5. Window closes shut
6. Throws change onto street to catch attention and lights things from his pocket on fire for the same reason
7. Tom hits window with intentions to break it but not enough strength to fall through it
8. Uses his shoe to try to break window open
9. Thinks about how little time he spent with his wife

Climax: Breaks window with shoulder

Falling Action:

1. Gets back into room
2. sets paper on desk with pencil over it
3. Grabs coat to leave and be with his wife

Resolution:

1. Paper flies out the window again
2. Tom laughs and leaves

Definition: Descriptive language that uses some or all of the five senses to make the reader feel more interested in the book. Gives a mental picture of what is going on in the story.

Example: Girl reading Harry Potter book

If you like the book, you have a higher chance of understanding the intended message and therefore you get a feel of the surroundings in the book. A lot of voice should be incorporated when writing imagery details because it gives our mental picture a clearer more detailed view.

Dynamic Character :3

Definition: A dynamic character is an important person who undergoes a critical change at some point in the story.

Example: Cherokee from the book Dangerous Angels
In the beginning of the book, we didn't read much about Cherokee's thoughts, just her actions. Towards the middle, we get her own perspective of how she sees her sister and family. After being influenced by drugs and other bad things while in a band, she lost herself and how she used to be, especially with Raphael. When she realizes this, she has to make hard choices to return to the way it once was.
