
Definition: Descriptive language that uses some or all of the five senses to make the reader feel more interested in the book. Gives a mental picture of what is going on in the story.
Example: Girl reading Harry Potter book
If you like the book, you have a higher chance of understanding the intended message and therefore you get a feel of the surroundings in the book. A lot of voice should be incorporated when writing imagery details because it gives our mental picture a clearer more detailed view.
